15 Tips To Lose 10 Pounds Or More

There was a time in this world when the need to lose weight was completely unheard of. People ate well, but the worked well too. They woke up early in the morning and then engaged in a whole day’s work. This work was mostly physical labor. People worked on fields digging, sowing, harvesting. They tilled they soil, rode horses, worked on farms and ranches. The result was that they could afford to eat almost anything they wanted in whatever quantities they wanted. But that was ages ago. The world has changed so much since those days. Life styles have changed so much and the comforts and facilities have increased so much.

But every rose has its thorn. As a result of all these comforts and amenities the state of physical well being has really changed. Most of us have sedentary jobs that demand little or no exercise at all. To put it simply, things have become so damn easy. And just as can be expected, weight gain has become a major concern for almost every city dweller.

During the period of thoughtless youth it is not such a major concern. The young practically eat nothing and so weight problems do not bother them so much. But as soon as you turn twenty, you start showing signs of weight gain and that too in all the wrong places.

It’s not about the hour glass figure or the perfectly sculpted and toned body. It is more about staying fit and remaining healthy to ensure a long, disease free life. Every body knows that those extra pounds spell illness. All over the world people are switching to a healthier life style and the catch line is indeed weight loss.

There is only one thing that you have to bear in mind. Weight loss does not happen by itself. There are only two ways to accomplish it… The first is by watching what you eat and the second is by seeing to it that your body gets the exercise that it needs.

As you read this post, my hope is that you’re continually amazed by all the “everyday” things you can be doing to lose 10 pounds…or more. Simple effective ways that can help you shed all the unwanted pounds in no time…

15 Tips To Lose 10 Pounds Or More

Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.

Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks, especially sodas. Hey all those colas and fizzy drinks are sweetened with sugar and sugar means calories. The more you can cut out on these sweetened bottle drinks, the better for you. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.

Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.

Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.

Eat intelligently. The difference between man and beast is that we are driven by intelligence while beasts are driven by instinct. Don’t just eat something because you feel like eating it. Ask your self whether your body really needs it.

Go easy on tea and coffee. Tea and coffee are harmless by themselves. It’s when you add the cream and sugar that they become fattening. Did you know that having a cup of tea or coffee that has cream and at least two cubes of sugar is as bad as having a big piece of rich chocolate cake?

Do not skip meals. The worst thing you can do while watching you diet is skip a meal. It has just the opposite effect of what you want. You need to have at least four regular meals every day.

Fresh vegetables are better than cooked or canned vegetables. Try to eat your vegetables raw. When you cook them, you are in fact taking away nearly half the vitamins in them. And canned vegetables too are processed and are not nearly half as good as fresh vegetables. When you buy your vegetables it would be a good thing to see if the label says that it is pesticide free.

Choose a variety of foods from all food groups every day. This is a fine way of keeping deficiency diseases at bay. Change the items included in your diet every day. This is an excellent way of keeping deficiency diseases at bay and it helps you to experiment with a variety of dishes and there by you do not get bored of your diet.

Try to have breakfast within one hour of waking. It’s always best to have breakfast within an hour of waking so that your body can charge itself with the energy it needs for the day. The idea is not to wait for your self to get really hungry. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but that does not mean that it should be the most filling meal of the day.

Go ahead eat cheat food, but only for flavor. There are many things which you have to avoid from your diet but which you may have an undying craving for. Do not avoid them altogether. You could call them cheat foods and indulge in them once in a while. But take care just to tingle your taste buds, don’t hog on them. Instead of that share them with others.

Watch your fat intake. Each fat gram contains 9 calories so by reading the total calories on a food and knowing the quantity of fat, you can estimate the % of fat, which should in no way exceed 30% of the food.

Instead of frying things try baking them without fat. Baking or BBQ’ing is by far a healthier method of preparing food than frying. BBQ’ing requires lesser oil or fat.

Avoid crash diets. They are bad for health and you will gain what you have lost once you take a break. Crash diets are not a solution to weight loss. It might seem as if you have lost few pounds but the moment you give up on the crash diet every thing will bounce back with a vengeance. Take a look at it in this way. Do you think that it is possible for a person to survive on a crash diet for the rest of his or her life? Certainly not! So at some time or the other, you will have to give up the crash diet and then you will see for yourself that a crash diet does more harm than good on the long run. Crash diets may have a lot to promise, but very rarely do these promises ring true. Crash diets are things people go on in order to wear an old dress or suit for a particular occasion. That’s the only purpose that they serve as far as I can see.

God gave us teeth for a reason… Therefore we should develop a habit of chewing all food including liquid food and soft foods like sweets, ice creams at least 8 to 12 times. This is essential to add saliva to the food, as it is only in the saliva that sugar is digested. Often we find that whatever goes into our mouth goes down like lightning. We hardly give the saliva any time to act on the food. So does digestion take place like it should? Do we just stuff our tummies with food that doesn’t get digested or in other words that doesn’t yield the benefits that it should? Exercise out doors as far as possible. There are two advantages of doing whatever you are doing out side. One advantage is that it gives your body a chance to get a lot of the much needed fresh air and sunshine. The second advantage is that the surroundings keep you perked up and it is a break form remaining cooped up all day long

Volunteering

You have valuable things to offer other people. Even if you feel as though you have absolutely nothing to contribute to society, there is undoubtedly something you can do in a volunteer capacity. Can you read? You might volunteer to read to children at a story hour in the local library. Can you talk? You can volunteer to visit an elderly person in their home once a week and simply have a nice chat. Can you pick up trash? There are plenty of volunteer organizations with the main goal of beautifying local parks. Just think of all the great things you can do, with very little effort, which will make a huge difference in someone’s life. Find something that you love to do and then start doing it as a volunteer. There are volunteer positions for just about anything you’re willing to do. Children’s hospitals have volunteers who go around to the different rooms and sing babies to sleep. Local government offices take in volunteers to greet people at information booths and direct people to the right offices. Schools have volunteer bus riders who make sure the kids are all under control for the duration of the bus ride. There is no limit to the good things you can do as a volunteer in your community.

Helping others just feels good.
You might be having the lousiest of days, but then you go and volunteer to help with a party for disadvantaged kids in your community; seeing their eyes light up and hearing their squeals of delight will surely erase any melancholy feelings you have about the first part of your day. Sometimes, when you know you are doing something good for someone without asking for anything in return, it can be an absolute rush. You will feel better about yourself knowing that you are doing something that is changing someone’s life in a positive way.

Volunteering can lead to new professional opportunities.
When you are typing up a résumé in hopes of landing a new job, you can put any sort of experience on there to include volunteer experience. You may have never worked in an office setting professionally, but if you have spent a few months volunteering at an office you can list all the skills you learned there when applying for a paying job. Oftentimes, monotonous tasks are assigned to volunteers such as filing, answering phones, and opening mail. These are the exact skills, however, that potential employers might be seeking out. Another aspect to take into consideration is that sometimes a volunteer position will turn into a paid position for the right person. For example, you might be volunteering as administrative help for a local non-profit organization, when suddenly there is room in the organization’s budget for the position to be a paid one. Or maybe the leaders of an organization recognize your hard work as a volunteer and offer you a paying job. Not all people volunteer with the hopes of getting hired into a permanent position, but it is a wonderful way to learn new skills while also giving something back to the community.

You will make society a better place
. Not only can volunteering make your life better, it is also to the benefit to the society you live in, for if there were no volunteers picking up trash in the park, who would do it? If there were no volunteers helping out disadvantaged youth, who would help these kids stay out of trouble? Volunteers do what they do without expecting pay in return; therefore the local government does not need to fill the gaps with paid positions. This keeps taxes low. Volunteers also help people who would otherwise be out causing mischief within society, so this keeps crime levels low in the community. When you volunteer your time and talents, you aren’t simply getting a great feeling and helping yourself learn new skills, but you are helping everyone in your local area and beyond. Now that’s a great feeling.

Why Work From Home?

WHY WORK AT HOME?
Why do people work at home? If you poll them (and that has been done, so there is no
need for you to start canvassing the neighborhood), you will find that a variety of factors
allow people to move from time clocks to self-reliance Let’s take a look at a handful of
popular reasons for pursuing a work at home career.

OPPORTUNITY
If the idea of working at home is appealing, you might just be an opportunity junkie.
Many of us crave the chance to do great things and find that our traditional nine to five
work environments are very limiting.

Women may have a glass ceiling with which to contend, but all of us have another even
harder ceiling to break through right above that one. It’s the inevitable ceiling of being
an employee instead of a business owner.
No matter how hard you work, no matter how smart you are, the structure of a traditional
job and the limitations inherent in your role as one of the hive’s worker bees will limit
you.

You might become a boss some day, but you will never become The Boss. The
opportunity just isn’t there.
Even if there is enough opportunity to entice you to continue making the daily commute
to the office for awhile, chances are those real chances for fulfillment are doled out
arbitrarily and unfairly.

The shots you do get to move up the ladder or closer to your goals are few, far between,
and inevitably mishandled by someone who outranks you.
Operating your own business from home restores opportunity. Any limits on your
success or growth are within your own control.

If you want to do something, there is no head office to clear it. You don’t have to fill out
a requisition form if you want to invest in yourself. You don’t need to smile during
evaluation week so that your middle manager with the happy face obsession will give
you a great performance review.

Opportunity is everywhere. When you have your own home business, the only limits are
the one’s you place upon yourself.

MONEY
Many of those who are break from the herd and work from home do so because of the
prospect of greater earnings. Along with the aforementioned opportunity in a general
sense comes the chance to make more dough.
Many work at home successes earn so much more than they ever would have if they
continued on their prior path that it boggles the mind.

If you get a halfway decent job that you can stay at for decades and you are a good
employee, you will probably find a way to make a decent living by popular standards.
Your income will allow you to buy a home, keep your lawnmower blades sharpened and
to occasionally take a family vacation. Two cars and a chicken in the pot are not things
at which one should sneer, either. They beat a worn pair of shoes and a “will work for
food” sign be a significant margin.

In the end, though, those in the regular workplace have a cap on their earnings. That
cap may not be expressed in any contract or the result of any hard and fast law, but it is
very real. The very factors that limit opportunity in general will also limit earning
capacity.

By stepping outside the employee circle and into the world of running your own
business, you can destroy that cap.
If having a chance to make big money is important to you, running your own operation is
definitely appealing.

FLEXIBILITY
The fact that you work nine to five, Monday through Friday, might not be that distressing
to you. Until your kid’s softball team makes it to the state tournament and plays their
Thursday semi-final game at six in a city two hours away.
The fact that you only have five vacation days per year until you have been with the firm
for more than two full years may make perfect sense for a company, but that provides
little comfort when you finally meet the woman of your dreams and she wants to take
you on a romantic, two-week tropical cruise. You get the idea.

Those who work from home have the ultimate in flexibility. They really can set their own
hours the way very few employees can. Some work early. Others work late. Some work
only a few hours a week, but for long hours on those days. Others work as necessary.
It depends on the home business. However, the home business is within the control of
its boss, and if she wants to take mid-afternoon naps or if he wants to spend
Wednesdays at the driving range, there is nobody one step higher on the corporate
ladder to tell her or him “no.”

FAMILY
Every morning someone drops off his or her child at daycare, gets back in the car and
starts to do the math in his or her head.
Their daycare provider has the kid from eight until five-thirty, five days a week. That’s
forty seven and a half hours per week.
The parent has the child from about six a.m. until eight and then again from five-thirty
until that eight o’clock bedtime. That’s twenty two and a half hours per week. Even if
one gives himself or herself full credit for two full weekend days of “awake time,” the
total is still only at fifty two and a half hours per week.
That’s right, the child only sees his or her parent for about five more hours per week
than he does his daycare provider.
For many parents, that just isn’t tolerable. In fact, it’s heart-wrenching and it’s one of the
chief reasons why many are inspired to start their own work at home business.
Yes, it may be tough to seal big deals with a two year old trying to stick a Crayola up
your nose, but that challenge is far more palatable than the idea of a child growing up
with only slightly more contact with his or her parents than his or her babysitter.
Even those who don’t have children may be interested in the familial advantages offered
by stay at home work. Spouses can see more of each other. Those who are
accustomed to being forced to do business on the road can finally enjoy a husband or
wife again.
Working at home puts one in the midst of family as powerfully as regular jobs can
separate one from his or her home life.

INTERESTS
Many people feel trapped doing jobs they despise. You can see it in their faces. From
the angst-ridden barista at any one of ten local Starbucks who could be making shrewd
stock deals all day to the slow-moving housepainter who always wanted to be a chef,
you encounter people who are working outside of their interests and skills just to collect
a check.

Some people learn to compromise. They take solace in Mr. Holland’s Opus and
convince themselves that eventually all of that compromise will add up to something
meaningful. They shove their interests and true desires to the back of their mind and try
to retain focus on doing their job.

Yes, a few people are lucky enough to find employment that really matches their skill
levels and attitudes nicely, but many more spend their time doing things in which they
have only a marginal interest outside of the bi-weekly paycheck their efforts produce.
Though some will swallow the disappointment and frustration, those who decide to work
at home will not. They opt to pursue their dreams and to find ways to make their skills
and their “calling” into action.

It can be far more fulfilling than simply working for the sake of earning a salary. It
imbues one’s vocational life with great meaning and appeal.

Every year, thousands escape the rat race. They shed jobs that limit their potential and satisfaction. They find fulfillment in their work and unprecedented financial rewards. No more commutes. No more annoying supervisors. No more dead end jobs. They operate their own businesses from the comfort of their own home. Will you join them?

Finding The Right Nanny For Your Child

Hiring a nanny requires time, patience and knowledge. Although it may seem like a simple thing to do, consider what a nanny will provide to your child. In most cases, they will provide health care, education, rearing, and even teaching your child morals. It requires something more than selecting any person on the street to watch your child. This isn’t a babysitter, but a person to welcome into your family to do one of the most important things for your family:

raising your child.

For most people, a nanny can be a true benefit. Finding someone that is trained in providing these attributes to your child will give your child a step up from the rest. If you currently are sending your child to daycare, you may be spending just as much as a nanny would cost you and getting mediocre care for your child. For many reasons, a nanny is an investment into your child’s future as well as your future.

In this ebook, you will learn who a nanny is, what they can provide to you and your child, how to hire one and how to be confident in your decision. Hiring a nanny is a huge responsibility. Yet, it doesn’t have to be one that you don’t do well. Just who is a nanny anyway? Many people don’t realize what a nanny can provide or what their true job is. In fact, this will be one of the steps you go through when hiring a nanny to care for your child.

What you want them to provide must be defined ahead of time. In that, you have to know what should be provided and what a standard nanny’s job is. The definition of a nanny is someone that is employed to take care of children. This generally happens within the child’s home. Some nannies are live in while others will come and go on a daily basis at various hours. Nannies can be hired on a full time basis or they may even work part time. In most cases, they are responsible for the day to day care of your child including their established routines.

What To Expect From Your Nanny
There are several things that you should expect from your nanny. Don’t assume that they will provide this, though. The fact is that every aspect of hiring a nanny means spelling out what you require.

A nanny should:
• Respect family decisions and provide services around them.
• Promote the development of the child in all aspects including emotional, physical, intellectual and social developments. Hold true to high standards of professional conduct with children and families.
• Continue their education to provide the latest resources and skills to the child.

The role of a nanny includes things like being educators, nutritionists, activity coordinators, researchers, friends, and much more. They do more than any babysitter could provide as their job is not to keep the child out of trouble for a few hours, but for their life. It is up to you to decide who you hire as a nanny for your family. There is no official seal of approval that nannies have.

Yet, it is very strongly recommended that you take the time to find out about their experience and their education. Most nannies will have special education under their belt for child care. These skills should be evident in the way that they work with children, in the decisions that they make and on paper from the school itself. A nanny with special child care skills is a person that has dedicated their education to becoming a child care specialist, something you definitely want to have in your home. It is strongly recommended that you consider the educational background of the nanny before you hire them to care for your child.

Even someone that has had their own children may not know all that they should about the educational and social development of a child. Many colleges offer this type of education and there are also a number of nanny institutes that are a tool to consider as well. As you will see, there are a number of different ways to hire a nanny, but this is one aspect that should never go without detailed research. You have to ask these questions:

What makes this person qualified to raise your child?
What skills do they possess that make them capable, willing, and educationally developed to handle this huge responsibility?

If you can’t answer that question about a nanny you are considering, consider someone else for the job.

Procrastination - Who me? I Dont Do That !

Procrastination is the end to your time. It is that because once you begin to procrastinate, it is likely that you will face a long road to getting back on track.

Procrastination is the means of putting off something for another day even though you have the ability and the time to obtain those goals right now.

If you are someone that is known for waiting until the last minute to get the work done, this could be causing you a variety of problems that can be wrecking your day and your time. The fact is, though, most people go through the process of procrastination, in different amounts every day.

When you procrastinate, you are actually not getting to achieve what you are capable of achieving and that can cause you to miss out on many opportunities for success in many ways. Procrastination can ruin your career because it may be the one thing that shows others that you are unable to achieve your goals.

How in the world can you actually get around this problem, then? Start with learning what is happening and knowing how to react when you begin to procrastinate. When you realize that you are procrastinating or about to, you can recognize this, stop it and get back on track to better managing your time.

It is also important for you to understand why people procrastinate and in doing so you will be in a better position to avoid allowing it to happen to you, over and over again.

Finally, you need to take the right steps to managing your time so that you can manage the outcomes of your time by learning how to deal with procrastination. It’s a mind set that you can not afford with the limited amount of time that you actually have.

Why Do You Procrastinate?
Procrastination is something that many people, if not all people, actually deal with. You should not believe that this is something that only you go through. Yet, it is something that you need to take care of as quickly as you can so that you can take back the time you are losing.

Procrastination is defined as putting off doing something that you should be putting your attention onto right now.

Usually, people do this when they want to do something else that is favorable, a bit more fun or even just easier.

Is this you? Do you spend long days working hard at what you are trying to accomplish but you are investing your time in accomplishing the easy tasks instead of taking on the larger, more important tasks?

A common problem here is that many people can not see the difference between priorities in tasks. For example, you have an important task to complete. You also have an urgent task to complete. Which do you go to first? You should accomplish the important task because it is just that, important!

Far too many people look towards accomplish the things that they think are necessary to complete right now, forgo the important task and then need to find a way or a time to balance the ball in their favor. Here are some common examples of this.

Let’s say you are working at your desk and in walks your boss. They need you to handle an important client. The phone rings, it is another employee, struggling to accomplish his task and wants your help. You get back to work. The other employee calls again. They need you. Which task do you do; the important client or the employee that will keep calling until you help?

The task here that you should be completing is that which is important, the one that needs your full attention and that will get you the most bang for the buck.

Unfortunately, far too many people strive to accomplish that other task because that person has complained, called and got into their head and they now are the loudest voice there telling them what to do.

But, when you react to that person, you change the way that the day is flowing. Now you need to deal with the important client, when you are stressed and overwhelmed. You’ll also have to explain to the boss why you made the client wait, why the task was not completed soon enough and in the end why the job was not done completely right (because you could not concentrate, of course.)

Other times when this can happen include when you think you are doing the right thing by asking fast. Or, perhaps you did not even think about which is the best task to complete and just jumped on board. That isn’t going to serve you well down the road when you need the help the most.

Are You Overwhelmed Yet?
One of the other reasons that many people struggle with procrastination does not have to do with any of these other situations. It has to do with the feeling of being so overwhelmed that you feel like you just can not do it.

For example, you have a large and important project on your desk. There are many steps to accomplishing it and it will take time to go through the project, organize and accomplish it.

The instant feeling of being overwhelmed attacks. You can feel it in your shoulders, in your head and all of a sudden, you just can no longer focus on the process and you end up facing the fact that today just got very long and complicated.

Perhaps you are not sure where you should start the project. You may even feel as if the task is so large or so hard that you do not have the skills or the ability to complete it or complete all of it. Perhaps you do not think you have all of the information and tools to get the job done right. Instead of accomplishing the task, then, you put it off to the side, for another day.

Why would you do that? Most people do this form of procrastination because it feels easier to accomplish something that they can do and know that they can do. They feel that the big project is just too hard.

Whether you have the intention of going back and completing the project or not, you have now sidestepped the job so that you can gain the comfort and the benefit of completing a job that is easier for you to do.

Since that was an important job, you realize at the last minute that you need to complete it and the overwhelming worry starts up all over a gain except; now there is more problem to deal with. Now, time is limited which means less focus and less ability to complete the job with the same quality that you could have done beforehand even though you think you could not have done so.

Important jobs and projects that are larger and harder do not just go away. They can not be shoved under the carpet until the next day, week or whenever you get to it. If you do that, you are likely to never be able to complete the project like you could complete it if you did it today, with your full attention and the time to do it right.

Procrastination can cause all types of negative situations for you. For example, some additional reasons that you may procrastinate include not being able to organize your thoughts and your needs, fearing that you will fail at the task, and waiting for the right time to start on your project. No matter what, it is still procrastination!

Many people need to work on improving their situations so that they can improve the overall need that they have for achieving time management skills. For some, being a perfectionist may be the reason that they do not step forward to complete the important tasks. For others, making decisions is not something that they know how to do correctly and thoroughly, which leads to not making any decision at all.

All of these signs of procrastination are just that: signs for you to stop doing them and to start taking back control of your time and your life. Understanding why it happens is the first step. Examine your life and the tasks that you are procrastinating right now. Why are you really putting off doing something that you could be doing today?

Let It Go

Are you letting your past define who you are now? Not everyone grows up in the house with the proverbial white picket fence. Dysfunctional family members are so relatable to the public nowadays that they are even main characters in primetime television shows. The point is that not everyone has a picture perfect childhood, not everyone looks back fondly upon their high school years, and not everyone has the best experiences throughout the rest of their lives.

If you have encountered undesirable occurrences in your life - whether it was a rough upbringing, torturous encounters with bullies during your school years, or maybe some bad romantic relationships – you need to take a good look at how these events have molded you into the person you are today. All sorts of personality traits can be blamed on your personal history.

Freud believed that babies who are not shown the affection they crave would eventually grow up to become melancholy adults. Although today’s psychology experts have since discredited a lot of what Freud believed, the idea is still a valuable one: your past has an affect on who you are today. It is up to you to decide whether the affect your past has on you is going to be detrimental or instead beneficial.

If you find that you are having trouble letting certain things from the past go, then perhaps it’s time to go on a serious soul-searching endeavor. Remember that you continually grow psychologically, and just because you were dealt some bad hands in the past, does not mean that you are a slave to your history.

Consider all past experiences as valuable ones. It can be said that your past defines you, or at least it helped form who you are today. Facing adversity in the past does not necessarily guarantee a scarred life forevermore. Some people take the bad things that happened to them in the past and use them as powerful learning experiences.

The fact of the matter is that, even if your life has been riddled with problems this far, there is no reason you cannot learn from your past and allow the events to teach you lessons. Have you had a particularly bad relationship? Take a hard look at what lead up to the relationship, such as why you chose the partner and why you stayed up to the point when you left.

Are you trying to recover from a particularly bad financial situation? If you analyze what led you to get into the situation to begin with, it can teach you how to never get into that sort of situation ever again. No matter what your life has been like so far, everything that has happened to you has helped to make you what you are today. You need to decide if you would rather ruminate over any bad experiences you have had, or if you will instead use them as valuable tools and move on with your life in a positive manner.

Acknowledge your past so you won’t be doomed to repeat it. Many people do things throughout their lives that they later consider to be mistakes…some events are so painful to think back on that people might wind up suppressing them and not allowing themselves to think about them ever again. This does not refer to regressive memories, but rather to events that a person is embarrassed about and chooses to not think about.

Cheating on a partner might fall into this category, or being involved in some sort of criminal act. Acknowledging your past does not mean that you need to announce to the world that you have had these sorts of experiences in your life, but instead it is more of an acknowledgement for your own sake.

If you find certain events in your past to have been so embarrassing or horrifying, the main objective is to give yourself the chance to mull it over. You should allow yourself to consider the various past events that you feel may be holding you back. You should also allow yourself the gift of forgiveness.

If you think about it, you are probably harder on yourself than anyone else is on you…if you forgive yourself for the mistakes you have made in the past you will find that you are better equipped to move forward in your life. What a powerful gift you can give yourself. No matter what your past holds, you can acknowledge your mistakes, forgive yourself, and move on.

Have a fun little “Letting Go” ritual. Many therapists and other psychology professionals endorse the idea of having a formal instance where you say goodbye to whatever memories from your past that are dragging you down. You might have pictures of a person who emotionally scarred you that you can burn, or maybe you have a piece of jewelry from a previous bad relationship that you can sell or give away.

Pick an action that will allow you to release the bad memory, and after your “Letting Go” ritual consider yourself as having moved on. Getting your life together will be so much easier if you go about it without a bunch of emotional baggage. There is so much more to changing your life than what has been listed so far, but use the suggestions as a sort of outline to get you revved up and ready to change your life.

There probably isn’t a person in the world whose life is absolutely perfect, and keeping a life in order takes constant revisions and flexibility. You can get to a point where you feel more satisfied with your life than you do now, however, only with some want and dedication.

We All Need Time Out !!

Hello once again to all.. its Miz Helena here on this glorious Tuesday morn here in beautiful Sydney..  i hope this blog finds everyone well and your having a great week so far..

Well its time to strip off the suit and tie for a few moments.. ive been extremely busy these past few days trying to get lots done and up and in place before the big day..  so far so good im very pleased with my efforts and what ive managed to tackle.. Abundant World has been such a pleasure to work with and promote..  quite different from erotica i must admit.. actually WAY different from erotica..  lol..  and its been quite a welcomed change in direction.. so make sure you check out our new FREE Club Abundant World membership and our Ebay store!!  pretty kool stuff !!

However..  this blog isnt about talking business .. no..  like i said ive removed the suit and tie.. just like a businessman would when he comes home from work.. this is a time for me.. to sit and reflect and ease the pressures and smile and be happy like if i was to go to the park and pick a flower or something..    lol..  its so wonderful to appreciate lil moments like this..  taking time out.. coz we all need it.. sometimes we need to shift the focus away from the dollars and get back to what truly matters..

anyways.. as some of you know.. my day is fast approaching..  and is causing me to become excited and jittery at the same time..  i always get that way when the time draws near.. the same happened when i took off to Japan last year..  but im sooo looking forward to it.. firstly i have to tell you all about my passport dramas ..   just last week i thought i lost mine and paniced like you wouldnt believe!! so thru all the mix up i rang to cancel it ..  but found it in the meantime..  but it was too late to put a stop on the cancellation..  so i had to apply for a priority replacement !!  forking out more dollars and putting it on urgent dispatch.. luckily that arrived just the other day..  which i picked up from my local PO.. PHEW!!

No matter how busy i get.. i now lay down my guns and get out every evening and get the blood pumping!!  A couple of my neighbours and I have been meeting up for our nightly cozy walks and we’ve been having a ball!! we walk around quite aimlessly.. not knowing where we will be ending up!!… Just the other night we got so carried away with our girly chats that we ended up close to the airport !!  i’d say in another 10 mins we would have been amongst the international passengers waving em off !!  LOL..  but nevertheless we always have fun.. we had to hurry back thou as not to miss Desperate Housewives !!  LOL

Its tax time YAY !!  and that means moola moola moola…. sometimes its great at times like these not to be a fulltime worker.. coz you get most of the tax back (in fact the majority of it back !!) when your income falls below the tax threshold..  esp for me now that comes in very handy !!  more cash = better shopping opportunities !! lol..  haha..  nah im not that bad..  hihi..  well..  i dont think so anyways..  my mentor however has a very different opinion..  he reckons thats all i like to do..  well i did leave him stranded one time without FTP help when he needed it and i just took off..   oooops..  (it wasnt as bad as it sounds btw..  HONEST!!)..   lol..   but yes..  i do love my shopping.. but im not what you might picture as a girl dolled up to the nines browsing all day with a soporifically bored bf in tow….  asking me every 5 mins if im done yet..  LMFAO..  no.. i dont drag ANYONE with me.. its my private time.. (ohh occasionally i will ask my gf..  then do lunch afterwards)… but for the most part i go myself and make a day of it.. and get other things done too.. like a deep Thai massage…  (mmmmm…  drool time… ) and intimate waxing.. and I have an absolute ball too!! my fave items of interest have to be unusual tops and perfumes…  and sometimes shoes if any catch my fancy..  my fave shoes have to be platforms.. not only because i think are very sexy..  but i looove the retro look and (shhhhh!!!) i also gain a few inches too !!  LOL plus the fact they are much more comfy to wear than stiletto heels .. (which i find hard to walk in believe it or not!!.. i totter rather than walk when i wear em..  lol.. ).. but i could wear platforms all day and stand in em no probs..  for casual wear im in loove with Docs.. i use to have a mid-calf length pair that i had to throw out recently coz ive had em forever and they were falling part..  a very sad day that was.. and im still looking for a similar pair but me cannot find !!

anyways..  love life talk time..  haha..  mines been sooo hot and exciting .. leaving me spinning and breathless .. (NOT!!)  lol..   my kiwi boy keep me busy thou.. on the fone..  like last weekend..  i swear you would think i owned telstra the way i was constantly nattering.. and that was after spending 2 nights in a row with the phones practically buried up my kazoo..  lol..  but yes sadly my love life is non existant right now.. lack of sex .. sorry correction.. NO SEX has fried my brain..  lol..  and i swear i thought i felt the first signs of threads appearing across my ?&^%$^!  lol.. wild fantasies, long pointed objects and chocolate have become my bestest bedtime buddies..  lol..  the chocolate has to be cadburys of course..   but seriously peepz..  my mind has been on a tremendous headfuck for about a year now .. Tray knows all about it.. well some of it..  the rest is so confusing.. draining..  and sooo fuckin pathetic..  however.. as each day passes and with strong support and positivity around me.. i have recovered .. im pleased to say..  no longer am i obsessed with a PC screen..  and someone i didnt even know..  and for that im giving myself constant pats on the back and looking at things as a learning experience.. i dont want to go into any details here.. and bore the pants off everyone..  so lets just suffice to say its no longer a problem.. YAY !!!

im thinking of cutting my hair.. (only thinking at this stage sweetee..  hehe yes you cutee.. !!)..  anyways.. i would like to consider a shaggy cut.. i seen a style on a chick recently and she looked great!! and it got me thinking hmmm..  left long at the back with wispy layers around the fringe and sides.. with multiple streaks of colour ..   hmm… quite beautiful and reminded me very much of the 70’s and 80’s..  and how sexy the girls were..  so will be thinking about it as summer approaches and im back and brown and golden all over.. (yes that means NO bikini lines and yes..  thats how you get it !!..  LOL)…  ive had a style similar in the past and it felt so light and comfy.. the only thing i didnt like about it is when you want to grow it back and it ends up looking weird..  trying so hard to style it in ways that suits and doesnt make you look like youve stuck your fingers in the electrical sockets.. lol… so will announce my big decision if i decide.. right here. ..    in with the new and out with the old??.. could be subconsiously !!

hey im still getting offers of settling down with complete strangers here still..  i cannot believe… im so sure they are part of a phishing scam or similar.. coz there sob stories are all the same..  you might of read samples i posted at AWP MS page..  ohhhh but the good news is hits are waning..  coz ive stood up and spoke my mind and told em to expand their narrow lil one track minds..  fancy assuming someone wants to be hit upon coz of a pic..  damn we really have allowed ourselves to become so twisted and warped.. our natural sense of love and life has diminished so much…  so sad that is..   the only thing we can do is stay true to ourselves and soldier on..  (hopefully without codral)..  lol..  so very pleased i have stuck to my very big guns and put em in their place..  if i do wanna get nasty all i have to do is switch off and head on over to angel and her deviate pages and let her take over for a few hours.. its great because she actually keeps me balanced..  you know..  the yin and yang..  these days i’d say the 80/20 rule applies in  my life..  80% angel and 20% deviate angel..  lol.. and its super to be able to just switch off and become sumone else.. and release all the pent up **&&^%$$@! that goes on in my mind..  funny thou.. ive found the more you try to release sumthing the more it follows you..  lol … truth!!  so thats why i take time out to go a lil crazy and have a bit of fun.. and embrace it rather than try and fight it..  its inside us all.. its just sum ppl are to chicken to admit it..

well i hope i havent chewed off everyones ear yet..  its so theraputic for me to just spill it all..  you know loosen the tie a bit and relax..  i cant forever be making out that butter doesnt melt in my mouth..  im just a normal gal with normal hang ups just like the rest..  just because im running a positive family orientated business doesnt mean things dont get to me..  i do have my moments too..  this is why we have diaries and blogs thank goodness.. to just blurt out whats been happening and whats on our minds.. i hope you tooo can relate to that feeling..

I hope you enjoy sum of these recent snaps i took inour BBQ area  (where i attempted to make my first live AWP vid for UT..  but got sidetracked badly !!)  lol..  but i will get round to that..    ENJOY peepz and have a brill week ahead !!  **sweet hugs and kisses for all**
